More swimming...

JP has come a long way since scooting out to the end and being dropped to the lifegaurd. Oh... Take note- the lifeguard usually catches the kids. Because JP has landed right on top of the lifeguards, they stick the red thing out for him to land on instead ;)

Toothfairy Time

There's one less baby tooth in JP's mouth these days. It took several tooth pulling experts to work it loose, but Grandma Betts finally removed it. I guess we should summon the toothfairy one of these days.

Swimming

JP is a self-proclaimed master swimmer. Before I call the Olympic Committee, I think I will wait until his instructors say he can pass Level 2. He loves swimming lessons and can float on his back. Jumping off the diving board is no problem either. What a brave boy he is!

Camping

We love to go camping! We finally got out to Black River this weekend. It rained on us for a while right after we got there & the nap was great. Mac & JP pretended to fish a little & went hiking. Seneca & I had a great time at camp with the ee-ee- pido that we found crawling. Did you know that caterpillars don't enjoy being squished and stretched? After some hair was lost, I talked her into letting him go on his way. I caught some kid of stomach bug... Mac says it's cuz I washed my hands with Forest Service water. It was great while we were up there.

Rodeo Season...

JP rode Dirk around the barrels all by himself yesterday. This was his first time to participate without his mom leading him around. He completed the pattern correctly and made Dirk stay under control. It doesn't matter that it took him over a minute to finish it. He was interested in winning a prize, but I told him he had to be faster than a walk to start winning. Maybe it'll spark his competitive side soon.
